GUNS N’ ROSES SHAKES UP CUIABÁ WITH A HISTORIC SHOW AT ARENA PANTANAL”

As more than 40,000 fans take over Cuiabá, the capital of Mato Grosso turns into a rock battlefield — with a massive security operation, heavy traffic, tropical heat, and a night that promises pure chaos and glory.

heart of Brazil’s Center-West region — and Cuiabá is ready to explode. The show, happening this Friday, October 31, 2025, at Arena Pantanal, marks one of the biggest events ever held in the state.

More than 40,000 people are expected to fill the stadium, creating an atmosphere that blends sweat, nostalgia, and pure rock energy.

From early morning, streets near the Arena are already packed with fans wearing the band’s iconic T-shirts, carrying flags, and chanting classics like Sweet Child O’ Mine and Paradise City.

Hotels, bars, and restaurants across Cuiabá are fully booked — the city is living and breathing Guns N’ Roses.

The Biggest Security Operation of the Tour

The Mato Grosso Military Police has launched “Operation Show Guns N’ Roses,” the largest security effort of the entire Brazilian tour.

Over 900 officers are deployed across the city, with special focus on traffic control, entrance gates, and crowd management inside and outside the Arena Pantanal.

Traffic blocks begin at 12 p.m., covering key streets such as Agrícola Paes de Barros Avenue and Ranulpho Paes de Barros Avenue.

Nearby roads will be open only for drop-off and emergency services, ensuring smoother access for fans and event staff.

Authorities are advising attendees to arrive early and avoid driving to the venue if possible.

The Schedule and What to Expect

  • Venue: Arena Pantanal, Cuiabá – MT
  • Gate Opening: 5:00 p.m.
  • Main Show: 9:00 p.m.
  • Organizer: Ditado Produções

Fans under 12 years old are not allowed, and those aged 12 to 17 must be accompanied by parents or legal guardians.

The Consumer Protection Agency (Procon) also issued a reminder about prohibited items: glass, metal containers, large bags (over 20×30 cm), and umbrellas.

Plastic water bottles with caps removed are permitted for hydration due to the extreme heat.

Weather Alert: Rain and Heat Collide

The National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) has issued a yellow alert for rain and wind during the night of the show.

Cuiabá is known for its blazing temperatures, often above 36°C (97°F), but this time, clouds and humidity will add an extra challenge.

Bring a light raincoat, avoid metal umbrellas, and protect your electronic devices.

Tourism and the City Vibe

Beyond the concert, Cuiabá is buzzing with visitors from all over Brazil and neighboring countries.

Local authorities estimate an economic impact of over R$400 million from tourism, hospitality, and services related to the show.

If you’re visiting just for the event, here are some quick must-do experiences before or after the concert:

  1. Historic Downtown & Porto District – perfect for photos and local food.

  4. Local Ice Cream – tropical fruits like pequi, cajá, and murici.
  5. Chapada dos Guimarães – a nearby paradise of waterfalls and viewpoints.
